The Calico Garden, one of the areas largest gift and collectibles shops, has moved!!! Formerly located at the 100 Center in Mishawaka for over 30 years, we are now happily nestled in a huge warehouse on the western edge of Elkhart County. Boasting over 10,000 square feet of the most fantastic inventory in the area, our nooks and crannies, full of surprises around every corner, still abound. Many current lines are carried, with a selection that amazes each visitor, for not only are the most recent additions available, but also many older, retired pieces can be found. Walking through the maze of "rooms" and watching the delightful assortment of treasures unfold is a fun, unique shopping experience.
Boyds, Heartwood Creek by Jim Shore, Precious Moments, Webkinz, Harmony Kingdom, Harbour Lights, Painted Ponies, Charming Tails,and Cherished Teddies are a few of the current collectibles that can be found. Retired lines that are still in abundance include Dreamsicles, Marys Moos, Raggedy Ann, Cottage Collectibles, Blushing Bunnies,and Mousetales, as well as many others.
Seasonal items including fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter and a huge Christmas room are available throughout the year. Possible Dreams Santas, Old World and Christopher Radko ornaments, are featured. Home and garden decor, scented candles, florals, framed prints, afghans, dogs, cats, fairies, bears, and cards are a few more of the wonderful array of items you will find.
Come browse and lose yourself for awhile in a shopping experience you'll want to share with a friend. We are located just off CR6 (Cleveland Rd) on the WEST side of the airport. Turn south on Faith Ave., which is acually behind our building, then an immediate left into a back parking area. There is a drive to the left of the building which will bring you around to our front entrance. We'll be looking for you!
